This Namiki Chinkin fountain pen was created bythe renowned artisan, Yasuji Sumi,in Japan. The pen matches the Yukari size but with a flat top, and is fitted with an 18k gold nib in the #10 size. Itfills via Pilot/Namiki cartridge/converter (a CON-70 is included), and comes packaged in a velvet-lined wooden box.
This incredible Kinshu, or Beauty of Autumns Leaves,fountain pen features a stunning carp motif surrounded by elegant autumn leaves, painstakingly etched, and filled in with gold powder.
The leaves were designed based on Momiji, or Japanese maple trees. These leaves are comparable to exquisiteness of brocade silk – richly decorative silks woven with multicolored threads.
The symbolism of the Carp is said to be an incarnation of dragons and are symbols of luck and good fortune.
